Navigating Our Pole & Aerial Classes
New to Pole?
We recommend starting with "Intro to Pole" if you have never tried a pole dance class. (But you can also jump right in with Pole Essentials 1 or Sirens in Stilettos).
- Repeat Intro to Pole: Each Intro class is slightly different, so you can take it again to refine your basics, build confidence, and ensure you're comfortable before moving on.
- Join Pole Essentials (6 Week Series): If you’re ready to commit to structured progression, our Pole Essentials Series is perfect for you. This series will help you build a strong foundation in pole skills, ensuring you develop proper technique and strength.
- Try Spinning Up Pole Skills
(Drop-in Option): Not ready to commit to a full series? Spinning Up Pole Skills is a great drop-in class where you can continue learning tricks and transitions at your own pace.
- Explore Sirens in Stilettos: If you’re drawn to the dance aspect and want to learn sensual movement, Sirens in Stilettos with Nicki Che is the class for you! This class focuses on low flow, heel work, and fluidity, so grab your pole heels and kneepads.
New To Silk Sling?
Start with our Intro to Silk Sling class, which you’re welcome to take as many times as you’d like. From there, you have two exciting options to explore:
- Aerial Sling Flow – A dynamic class blending tricks and dance, where you’ll learn new shapes each week and transition them into seamless movement.
- Aerialates – A fitness-focused class that utilizes the silks to support various yoga and Pilates-inspired poses, helping you build strength and flexibility.
New to Lyra (Aerial Hoop)?
First time on a Lyra? Yay! Start with our "Intro to Lyra" class to nail the basics. When you are ready, you can jump into a Lyra Flow Lab where you will learn new shapes and transitions!

March Spotlight: Tricks from A Sit!
This month, we’re focusing on Tricks from a Sit—an essential building block in your pole journey! Ann will be sharing videos featuring beginner and intermediate-level shapes and transitions that can be created from a simple pole sit. These tricks help improve grip strength, endurance, and body awareness while unlocking beautiful new moves!
Why is a Pole Sit Important?
The pole sit is a fundamental Level 1 skill, teaching students how to engage their legs and activate their core. This move is a gateway to so many beautiful tricks, making it a crucial part of every beginner’s journey. Want to master your sit and start exploring these tricks? Join us in our Pole Essentials Series Classes or drop into Spinning Up Pole Skill and start building your skills today!
Here's what's been posted so far:
✨ You can catch these moves and more all month on Ann's Instagram @spinningsirens and don’t forget to tag the studio @spinningsirensstudio in your progress posts! #SpinningSirens #PoleSitMagic
